From jh112 at fyi.net Sat Apr 15 10:19:38 2006 From: jh112 at fyi.net (Jeannie) Date: Sat, 15 Apr 2006 12:19:38 -0400 Subject: [PHBC Prayer] Easter thoughts ... Message-ID: <44411D1A.9080608@fyi.net> Hi. This was the only email address I could find on the site, so I am (ab)using it to send my Easter letter to you that I sent to my friends and family. it's just to let you know I am thinking of you all. I am Pete Christophe's sister. --------- I just want to wish everyone a Happy Easter. 1. Some of 'us' will be will be spending it out of state with OUR grandchildren ... thanks for remembering 3 kisses! 2. ... and some of 'us' will be wishing THEY were there too, but happy that YOU are there! 3. Some of 'us' will be working b/c the 'needs' of others will warrant it. 4. Some of 'us' will be working simply b/c the world expects it. 5. Some of 'us' will be having a SECOND Easter egg hunt! 6. Some of 'us' will be headed out on the open road; car ride, bike ride (which SOME of us hope to be doing SOON!) 7. Some of 'us' will be getting together with family for dinner. 8. Some of 'us' will be headed to sunrise service and/or church. 9. ... and some of 'us' won't. 10. Some of 'us' will simply be tasting the sweetness of another day. But I believe that all of 'us', regardless of your beliefs, will be blessed in one way or another ... whether it's enjoying quality time with loved ones or being uplifted with worship or hearing the Peepers in the evening or the sounds of birds and kids. Your blessing, again, regardless of your beliefs, might simply be the very act of waking up in the morning and having another crack at doing it all again. This time, any time really, is a good time to remember that love, compassion and forgiveness are 'things' you tend and nurture in a garden within you, to be given out, and hopefully received in return. Even if you don't get it back, don't let your garden go to ruin. Share ... there will always be someone who needs that part of you. Whatever you do, enjoy. Another day, another chance, another sunrise ... these things are not promises ... they are gifts. Whether you believe they 'just happen' or you believe that the Lord has given them to you, enjoy them. Some will perceive this as just another corny thing from me, but from MY garden, I just want to share with YOU that you are special in your own way to me. Have a wonderful and blessed Easter Sunday ... Jeannie -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
